We designed our Bantam Tools Desktop CNC 4th Axis Accessory to be beginner-friendly because we knew that for many of our users this would be their first experience with 4th axis machining. And with our Bantam Tools Milling Machine Software’s built-in SVG support, we’re working to make 4th axis machining even more accessible. You can use both the classic and advanced SVG support with the Bantam Tools Desktop CNC 4th Axis Accessory. The design workflow outlined in our Classic & Advanced SVG Workflows will remain the same.
However, when you load your SVG file into the Bantam Tools Milling Machine Software you will notice some differences in your settings. When using the classic SVG support you won’t be able to toggle the Cutout on or off.
Likewise, when toggling the advanced SVG support in the Bantam Tools software, you’ll notice that outer cutout and inner cutout placements are disabled.
For more insight into setting up your job using SVGs see our Classic & Advanced SVG Workflows guide.
