To use the Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine and Bantam Tools Desktop PCB Milling Machine, you’ll need a computer with the Bantam Tools Milling Machine Software installed. Our software is compatible with both Mac OS and Windows. For more information on system requirements, see the following guides:

We’re in the process of validating the latest version of our Bantam Tools software, which means installing and opening the software app on your computer will take a few extra steps. Here is an overview of those steps in case you’re having trouble setting up the Bantam Tools software. Again, we’re working to get our software validated as soon as possible and soon these extra steps will no longer be necessary.
Before you can install the Bantam Tools software, you’ll need to download it from our website. Head over to our Software Downloads page to do so.
Installing the Bantam Tools Software on Windows
After downloading the software, click the file in your Downloads folder to continue the installation process. When you do, you’ll get a pop-up window that looks like this:
Click “More Info” and select “Run Anyway” to continue.
You’ll then be brought to the setup wizard. Click next and follow the on-screen instructions to finish installing the Bantam Tools software onto your computer.
Once you’ve completed this process, you’ll be able to launch the software and start machining!
Installing the Bantam Tools Software on Mac
After downloading our software, click the file in your Downloads folder and follow the on-screen instructions to continue installing the software. Once you’ve finished installing the software, go to your Applications folder, right-click on the Bantam Tools software app, and select Open.
A pop-up window will appear that looks like this:
Once again, click “Open” to continue launching the Bantam Tools software and start milling with your desktop CNC machine.
